The Coalition for Global Hearing Health (CGHH) Board of Directors, based on the recommendations made by its Advocacy Committee, has to nominate CEO of Aures Foundation and Manager of Hearing House - Ekaterine Tortladze as CGHH Hearing Health Advocate (HHA) in Georgia.
The goal is to advocate for health care policies that support hearing health and to contribute to the development of conducive communities which contribute to the empowerment of persons with hearing loss, as well as their families and professionals providing local services, including audiologists, physicians, speech and language therapists, educators and others. It is to this avail that the concept of Hearing Health Advocates has been developed by the CGHH, in order to effectively advocate for policy design and implementation at country level and to present a unified front at global level to increase ear and hearing care audibility.
